We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant

3tone Records is an independent label based in central Bristol, with a growing roster of genre-spanning artists. 

3tone Records is part of the wider 3tone Group, encompassing artist management, publishing and more, run by a team with more than 50 years of combined industry experience working with artists as diverse as Amy Winehouse, Tame Impala, Josh Groban, Queens of the Stone Age and Flying Lotus.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable Marketing Assistant to work across our roster, assisting both the Head of Marketing and Marketing Manager in all endeavours, including the executing of release campaigns, managing engaging social media presences and carrying out targeted advertising, both digitally and offline.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’d be researching, planning and scheduling to ensure our artists grow their audiences.

Essential qualities
> Experience in running social media campaigns for a music artist, venue or music-related venture or company.
> An interest in and enthusiasm for, music and the wider music industry.
> At least 6 months’ experience working in marketing at a creative, music or arts company.
> Capable of working well under pressure
> Friendly, outgoing and professional
> Able to work autonomously, be pro-active and take initiative
> Dedicated and positive
> Excellent communication skills
> Organised, with good co-ordination and prioritisation skills
> Collaborative, team player
> Detail oriented with an excellent level of accuracy

Preferable qualities
> Experience in devising and running successful digital ad campaigns (Facebook & Instagram, Google Ads etc).
> Experience in using some or all of the following: Buffer, Linkfire, Slack, SendinBlue or Mailchimp.

Specific tasks include:
> Creating Purchase Orders and dealing with enquiries relating to invoices
> Work with the Head of Marketing and Marketing Manager to develop powerful artist campaigns
> Dealing with suppliers, artists, design studios, printers, media companies, internal contacts, etc.
> Arranging meetings
> Updating social media plans, media bookings and timelines
> Aiding in the creation and use of social media and newsletter assets
> Project research
> Assisting in the setup, execution and monitoring of social and digital ads
> Chasing assets as required by the Head of Marketing and Marketing Manager
> Identifying emerging interactive platforms and new advertising media
> Ensuring assets are collated and stored effectively
> Helping on out-of-office projects – photoshoots, gigs, video shoots etc as required
> General office admin

Salary range is £16 – 20K, dependent on experience.
The position is full time (Monday to Friday). You may on occasion be required to work outside of usual office hours.
